While we enjoy the many benefits of association with our colleagues at the university, the vast majority of our funding comes from outside sources.   All programs and daily operations of the Seymour Center are funded through memberships in the Friends of Long Marine Lab, gifts, grants, special events, program fees, facility rentals, gift store sales, and admission fees.
