Discovery Lab & Tours

Annual schedule: Tuesday-Friday, October 20, 2015 – June 3, 2016

Available Dates:
We are currently accepting Discovery Lab & Tour applications for inclusion in our Fall 2015 lottery. For your application to be included in the lottery, it must be RECEIVED no later than 5 p.m on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. Applications received after the lottery deadline will be processed on a first come, first served basis. See Discovery Lab Scheduling for more information.

Reserved School Tour

Annual schedule: Tuesday-Sunday, year round; Monday also available in July-August.

Reserved School Tours may not be booked on Community Free Days (9/11/15, 10/16/15, 11/13/15) or Homeschool Day (3/4/16).

  • Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance year round, and far in advance for spring.
  • Available slots are filled on a first come, first served basis.
  • If you are interested in a Reserved School Tour, please review the information on our Field Trips page, then call (831) 459-3800 to make a reservation.

Self-guided Exhibit Exploration

Annual schedule: Tuesday-Sunday, year round; Monday also available in July-August.

Self-guided Exhibit Explorations may not be booked on Community Free Days (9/11/15, 10/16/15, 11/13/15) or Homeschool Day (3/4/16).

  • Advance reservations required year round, and far in advance for spring.
  • Available slots are filled on a first come, first served basis.
