Sponsored by: Tour TimesA limited number of tours are offered each day. Participant numbers per tour are limited. Tours are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Sign-up begins one hour before tour time (half hour before, for Sunday 12:30 tour).
Due to space availability and fairness to all of our drop-in guests, we cannot accommodate more than 9 people per single group on any given daily tour. Groups of 10 or more may call three weeks ahead to book their own, personalized Reserved Group Tour for a small additional fee. Directions
FROM SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, take Highway 17 South from San Jose. Highway 17 ends at Highway One, as you reach the coast. As you approach the coast and the city of Santa Cruz, take Highway One North toward Half Moon Bay. (Highway One becomes Mission Street.) Continue north through town several miles. Turn left on Swift Street. Turn right on Delaware Avenue. Follow Delaware to the UC Santa Cruz Marine Science Campus entrance at the end of the road. The Seymour Marine Discovery Center is the final building located on the ocean bluff, next to the giant blue whale skeleton.
