Seymour Marine Discovery Center seeks an Events and Fundraising Specialist

SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Development Director, the Events and Fundraising Specialist acts as a seasoned, experienced professional, providing comprehensive coordination and management oversight of a range of events for both external clients and in-house fundraising, marketing, or mission-driven events. Independently facilitates or provides technical or high-level support to a variety of fundraising, development, stewardship, and marketing programs. Acts as a point person for protection of university assets ensuring the safety of life and property. Serves as a key team member for a financially self-supporting unit of UC Santa Cruz.
The Events and Fundraising Specialist must be able and willing to work frequent evenings, weekends, and holidays.
