People

We rely on a diverse group of people for our success. The Center’s professional staff is dedicated to excellence in its fundamental role of marine science education; more than 200 volunteers, interns, and university student employees assist in every way. The Friends of Long Marine Lab is the community support group that provides funding for the Center’s entire operation, as well as for UC Santa Cruz student research in the marine sciences.
