How to Apply

In addition to making an impact on our community, volunteers enjoy many benefits including learning about marine science in the Monterey Bay and current research from experts. Volunteers also receive discounts in the Ocean Discovery Shop and can attend special lectures and field trips.

UCSC student interns can receive academic credit (up to 5 units) by assisting with visitor and school programs as well as helping to develop projects for public displays, programs, and exhibits.

PARKING CHANGES
As of September 1, 2017, parking permits are required by UCSC. Seymour Center guests will receive three hours of free parking with paid admission.
