- All Ocean Explorer camps are currently full. To be added to the waitlist if space becomes available, submit an online Ocean Explorers 2021 Application form.

Members Priority Registration
Members (at the Dual/Family membership level or higher) of the Friends of Seymour Marine Discovery Center receive priority registration and a reduced fee for Ocean Explorers programs (see Schedule & Fees). Membership does NOT guarantee placement in a program, but it does give priority over non-members. If you would like to become a member, please visit our membership page.
Confirmation and Payment
- If you submitted an online application form by the lottery deadline (April 7 at 3 PM Pacific Time), you were sent an email in mid-April confirming enrollment or placement on a waiting list. If applying after April 7, you are automatically added to the waitlist and will be contacted if space becomes available in the weeks you selected.
- Selected applicants will be contacted by Wednesday, May 5, to supply payment by Sunday, May 9 (or when confirmed if after May 9).
In this unprecedented time, our cancellation policy has been modified to support families to make healthy decisions. We are waiving our policy that cancellations within 2 weeks of camp are non-refundable. Instead, all cancellations will incur a $60 processing fee, regardless of the date you notify us of the need to cancel. If your child must stop attendance during their camp week due to COVID, you will be refunded a prorated amount. If the Seymour Center needs to cancel your program before it begins, you will receive a full refund. If your program must be canceled after your camp week has already begun, you will receive a prorated refund.
