Members Priority Registration
Members (at the Dual/Family membership level or higher) of the Friends of Seymour Marine Discovery Center receive priority registration and a reduced fee for Ocean Explorers programs (see Schedule & Fees). Membership does NOT guarantee placement in a program, but it does give priority over non-members. If you would like to become a member, please visit our membership page.
Confirmation and Payment
- If you submitted an online application form by the lottery deadline (April 7 at 3 PM Pacific Standard Time), you will be contacted by email by Wednesday, April 14, to confirm enrollment or placement on a waiting list.
- Selected applicants will be asked to supply payment by Monday, May 3 (or when confirmed if applying after May 3.)
In this unprecedented time, our cancellation policy has been modified to support families to make healthy decisions. We are waiving our policy that cancellations within 2 weeks of camp are non-refundable. Instead, all cancellations will incur a $60 processing fee, regardless of the date you notify us of the need to cancel. If your child must stop attendance due to COVID, you will be refunded a prorated amount.
If the Seymour Center cancels your program before it begins, you will receive a full refund. If your program must be canceled after your camp week has already begun, you will receive a prorated refund.
