Seymour Marine Discovery Center seeks a Development Director
Under the general direction of the Seymour Marine Discovery Center Director, the Development Director takes primary responsibility for the fundraising programs of the Seymour Center that include gifts and grants, memberships, individual and corporate sponsorships, and events, and for developing the annual budget. The Development Director takes a leadership role in coordinating and managing the Seymour Center’s Board of Directors (Friends of Seymour Center), board committees, and programs. The Development Director supervises the Development/Events Associate (including the facility rentals department), the Ocean Discovery Shop Manager, temporary employees, student assistants, and community volunteers. The Development Director provides executive level support to the Board of Directors and the Seymour Center Director.
