The Seymour Marine Discovery Center seeks a motivated, customer-oriented, highly organized individual to serve as our Admissions Coordinator.
The Admissions Coordinator works primarily at the admissions/information station at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center and assists with other operational tasks of the Center as needed. This job includes cash handling, coordination of daily activities with the education staff, booking group reservations, compiling visitor statistics, assisting with the retail store operation, managing a college student staff, preparing social media communications, and assisting with other coordination, marketing, and daily operations of the visitor-serving front entry.
The Seymour Marine Discovery Center is part of Long Marine Laboratory, a marine research and education facility within the Institute of Marine Sciences at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
