We had the BEST WEDDING EVER. The unique experience of an indoor/outdoor beach wedding without the sand, and having a touch pool exhibit available for the kids was just so wonderful.
Our recommended capacity is 120 guests, with a maximum capacity of 150.

Hire the perfect caterer, coordinator, photographer and DJ to bring your vision to life. Don’t know where to start? We have a preferred vendor list who know our space like the back of their hand.
USE YOUR WEDDING FOR GOOD
All rentals of our space support our education programs and exhibits. Weddings allow us to keep our summer camps affordable, our field trip costs low and install some pretty cool exhibits.

Frequently Asked Questions
What pacakges do you offer?
- We have a variety of packages for all wedding types and budgets, including a ceremony only package, reception only package and a micro-wedding package.
Do you have onsite catering or coordination?
- We do not, but you’re welcome to bring in any caterer or coordinator you like. We also have a preferred vendor list who are familiar with our space.
Do you have discounts for UCSC staff or alumni?
- We do not. Only events paid for via UC accounting are eligible for special rates.
What’s the booking process?
- To reserve your date, we need 1) a completed event questionnaire, 2) a signed contract, 3) A 30% non-refundable deposit.
What’s your alcohol policy?
- Alcohol of all types is allowed at the Seymour Center, but it must be served by a hired professional. Hard liquor must be served by an ABC lisenced bartender. Self-serve alcohol is not allowed at the Seymour Center.
Do you have a backup ceremony location in case of rain?
- Yes! Our venue is perfect in all weathers since we have plenty of indoor space that’s protected from the elements in addition to our outdoor terraces.
