Self-guided Exploration

Customize your own experience with indoor and outdoor activities to fit your schedule and group size. Live animals inspire your class to observe and wonder like scientists. Helpful volunteers invite students to explore silky sea stars and touch a shark. Enjoy aquarium displays, interactive exhibits, touch pools, and outdoor exhibits. Students will transform into enthusiastic ocean scientists for a day to remember.

Dates & Availability
Tuesday–Sunday, anytime between 10 AM to 4 PM.

Mondays may also be available during summer months. Inquire about specific dates when scheduling.  

Fees
  • $9 per student, $12 per adult
  • Title 1 schools are eligible to receive a 20% discount off admission fees
  • Parking paid separately through ParkMobile app
Duration
Stay as long as you like. Most groups stay 1-2 hours.

Group Size & Chaperones
120 students maximum. Minimum ratios for (adult:student):

  • grades K-2 (1:6)
  • grades 3-5 (1:8)
  • grades 6-8 (1:10)
  • grades 9-12 (1:12)

Refunds & Cancellations
  • Please pay admission fees on the day of your scheduled visit. Any payments received before your visit are non-refundable.
